I really enjoyed Digital Design this semester, From Prezi, photoshop, and all the other programs I learned a lot. Mrs. Krewson is a good teacher. I also thought it was very cool how we used the bogster to post assignments. Ill miss this class!
For my Glogster I chose to fill it with things I love. I included pictures of my family, friends, and pets. I also posted things I am involved in such as Younglife, and volleyball. I thought Glogster was a really cool program that I could see myself using in the future. I liked how it looks like an actual pin board.
Before break we watched a movie about Facebook It was very interesting learning how Facebook came to be. Sometimes we're unaware of how much we really do depend on social media. Something I learned from the movie were to have privacy settings. There was story about a women losing her job because of what she posted on Facebook it's a good reminder to think before you post. What you put on the internet can't always be deleted.
For my creative Photoshop I decided to make this cat sense. I thought it was funny poking fun at cat ladies. For the Photoshop I used the magnetic lasso tool and I did a lot with different brushes. I had to download the backgrounds. I also had to replace the background with content-aware. This was a fun project.
I never knew all of the cool drawing techniques you can use in Photoshop. It truly is a glorified paint program. Making the rainbow was the hardest part.
It was cool making light sabers out of yard sticks. It's cool to get to use my photoshop skills although I had a little bit of trouble figuring out the color balance step. I think it came out as a nice finished product.
I chose the animal scene for my go animate. I came up with it by myself, I figured talking animals are always funny. I like how you can add different accents to your characters. I could see this site being helpful for presentations or projects.
I edited this photo on picmonkey. It was fun turning myself into a witch and was a fun activity for Halloween. I definitely will use this web site in the future.
I had fun using my photoshop skills to make this festive alien picture. I use text affects and image adjustments to turn myself green and add text. I think I make a really creepy alien.
The two programs we used for this project were photostory and sony music studio. For me, it was strange using these programs because I am use to the apple versions such as garage band or final cut pro. I enjoyed getting to use the sony music studio and making my own music. I also love the custom motion feature in photostory, it adds a lot to presentations. For this project i chose to do my photostory over Estes Park, Colorado. My family has a house in Estes Park and it is my absolute favorite place in the world. I love the mountains and I figured there would be good pictures to create a photostory with.
I really enjoyed creating this underwater scene. It gave be an opportunity to play with the different tools, duplication, and opacity. The four other images I chose were a shark, a lobster, a mermaid, and a blow fish. Those sea creatures are fun and add a lot to the scene.
Explore the magical land of KU along side Baby Jay as he discovers all the cool things KU has to offer. From Memorial Stadium to Mass street Baby Jay goes on an adventure that is sure to entertain any future jayhawk. Baby Jay learns all sorts of things about the university. This book is recommended for ages 4 and up.
For this project we used a QR reader to go around school and take pictures of examples of the design elements. Then, we used prezi to make a presentation about them. I never knew you could have multiple people working on a prezi at one time!
I made this comic on Pixton. com. I like this website because there are so many different expressions and backgrounds you can choose from. My scene is a boy who is having a dream, let's just say I'm not looking into a comic making career....
I created these pictures using big huge labs. My favorite one is the magazine but some of the words overlap. I also created my movie poster as a spoof of of Harry Potter. This website was fun and I plan on using it in the future.
These three photofunia's are my favorite because they are very funny. I've never put my face on Mt. Rushmore or Miss USA's before. I did find out Lucas Till and I make a cute couple!
Tagxedo and Wordle are both fun websites to use. Some uses for both websites would be to use in a school presentation for presenting multiple words. You could also use Wordle and Tagxedo for t-shirt designs. Both websites create cool designs that anyone could use for decoration or gifts.
